Heavy Duty Alkaline Cleaner
Dairy and Food Processing Industries
ALK-100 is heavy duty alkaline cleaner specifically designed for dairy and other food processing industries. It is a combination of low foam surfactants, Alkalis and chelating agents. This CFIA approved products lifts and removes heavy milk deposits from CIP milking systems and bulk tank surfaces without the use of chlorine. Boosts alkalinity for saponification fatty oils and removal of proteinaceous soils.
How to use it: Rinse tanks and lines thoroughly with clean water. Dilute product using 3-5 ml/L of water at 60°C – 70°C. More products may be necessary in hard water areas. Circulate the solution in the tank and through the pipeline system for 8-12 minutes. The entire system should be acidized on a regular basis after washing procedure, to prevent milkstone build-up. Spray, soaking and immersion techniques can be used for manual cleaning.
Rinse the surface, equipments and tanks with portable water before reuse.
Corrosive material. Keep out of reach of children. Always read label and MSDS before using. Do not use of painted surface and soft metals.
